寅年。
これを英語でいうと
year of the tiger。そのままでした！
そのままじゃないのが猪年で、
year of the pig。
これを知ったときは、
「豚…？豚年…？」と思ったものでした。
寅年はどんな年かというと、

namesakeは「a person or thing having the same name as another person or thing」ということで、訳しにくいけど、「その名のとおりに、その名前から想像できるように」くらいの感じでしょうか。
Tigersは「寅年生まれの人」を指すんだと思います。（theは要らないのかな？）
そのあとはこんな感じ。
独立心旺盛で恐れを知らず、義理堅くであり自分に自信を持っている。
寅は逆境に強く、挑戦から逃げることがなく、粘り強く、志がはっきりしている。
自由な気質と強い正義感は強みでもあるが、反抗心や過剰な自信につながることを考えれば弱点でもある。
